Last week, we had the immense pleasure of visiting the Ch\u00e2teau P\u00e9desclaux<\/a>, A true treasure nestled between Saint-Est\u00e8phe and Pauillac. To fully appreciate the splendor of the blend of modern glass and traditional Bordeaux stone, you have to experience it firsthand. The reception rooms are magnificent, and the view of the river is breathtaking. We were so captivated by the beauty of the place that we forgot to take pictures of the view!<\/p>\n

The Ch\u00e2teau P\u00e9desclaux winery represents an architectural and technological feat. Created in collaboration with the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, it preserves the aromas of the grapes thanks to a completely gravity-driven elevator system, similar to that seen at Cos d'Estournel and Lynch Bages.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The combination of ultra-modern steel vats with stone, wood and glass offers a captivating experience; the P\u00e9desclaux winery is one of the most beautiful we have visited.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Art is everywhere at Ch\u00e2teau P\u00e9desclaux: from paintings in the castle rooms to sculptures in the park and the wine cellar.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We were delighted by this discovery, which concluded with lunch in the park of Ch\u00e2teau Lilian Ladouys<\/a> while enjoying steaks from Pigout butcher shop in Saint-Est\u00e8phe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chateau P\u00e9desclaux, a grand cru class\u00e9 in 1855, is now among the must-try wines recommended by Ch\u00e2teau Papounan.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
